HomeWord Bound 2013

On Friday April 5th, CPAH presented our fifteenth annual "HomeWord Bound" from 6pm to 10pm at the Tualatin Country Club 9145 S.W. Tualatin Road, Tualatin, OR 97062.

Featured Authors

2013 Featured Authors were:

New York Times Best Selling author Whitney Otto who wrote “How to Make an American Quilt” – which was also made into a movie by Steven Spielberg), discussed her latest novel, “Eight Girls Taking Pictures,” described as a deeply affecting meditation on the lives of women artists.

Poet and essayist Kim Stafford (son of legendary Oregon Poet Laureate William Stafford), discussed his poignant yet uplifting book about his brother’s suicide in 1988, “100 Tricks Every Boy Can Do.”

New York Times Best Selling author Daniel H. Wilson (a robotocist by trade, whose last novel, “Robopocalypse” is currently being made into a movie by Steven Spielberg) discussed his new novel, “Amped.”

Master of Ceremonies for 2013 was the founding General Manager of The Broadway Rose Theatre Company, Dan Murphy.
